EXPOCONSTRUCCION & EXPODISEÑO www.expoconstruccionyexpodiseno.com From 21 to 26 of May of 2013 Expoconstrucción y Expodiseño is an international specialized trade fair that, in its 12th Edition reaffirms itself as the ideal setting to plan business exchanges and as a solid business platform in the construction, infrastructure, commercial architecture and interior and industrial design sectors. Every two years it strives to generate business and qualified contact opportunities among some of the representative companies of the sector and their potential domestic and foreign buyers. Expoconstrucción y Expodiseño is a dynamic event, which promotes the concept of sustainable construction and interior design, as well as promoting environmental conservation and sustainable architecture. It is a constantly evolving trade fair: In its 2011 edition, the event featured 473 exhibitors, 59,123 visitors, including 955 foreign buyers, 124 of which participated in the Business Roundtable. One thousand three hundred and seventy matches were made in the Roundtable sponsored by Proexport and the Bogota Chamber of Commerce and we reached an estimate of more than 97 million US dollars in closed deals. The “Sustainable Cities and Spaces” forum, carried out as part of the trade fair, also had a significant amount of participants, and was attended by over 300 people who had the chance to learn more about local and international experiences in the field of sustainability, as told by experts from the most prestigious architecture and design firms. More than 26 parallel academic activities were in line with an approach based on providing updates on industry trends and developments worldwide. In its 12th Edition, the trade fair will feature more than 20 thousand square meters of exhibition space and close to 520 exhibitors; it plans to receive 60,000 thousand [sic] visitors and expects more than 850 buyers.
